Additional Ingredients

  • While the recipe above is a very basic guacamole recipe, this is by no means the only way to make it. Everybody has their own recipe and list of ingredients they use. Here are a few things that you can add to the above recipe (if you like) to give it extra flavor, taste and kick:

Guacamole Tips & Tricks

  •  Guide's Choice For the best guacamole, always use ripe Hass avocados. They should be soft to the touch and their skin should have a dark green color to it.
  •  Guide's Choice A Lime Juicer can help you get all of the juice out of your Lime. Also, a potato masher can work well as a mashing device.
  •  Warning Guacamole doesn't keep very well, so always try to make it right before you are about to serve it. If you need to store it in the refrigerator, make sure it is covered so it doesn't go bad.
  •  Warning Unripe or overripe avocados can make for some pretty bad guacamole.
