How to Create a Signature in Gmail

- Similar to a signature on a regular hand-written letter, an email signature is a few lines of personalized text that tells the recipient who the message is from. Email signatures can include the senders name, contact information, and maybe even a favorite saying or quote. To save you the hassle of having to retype your signature on every email, Gmail allows you to create a custom signature that can be automatically attached to every email you send out.
How to Create an Email Signature in Gmail
- Click on Settings in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
- Scroll down to the Signature section and, in the box provided, enter in the text that you want to appear in your signature.
- Click on Save Changes.
Tip: To remove your signature from a specific email, simply delete it manually before sending.
