The Grinch, is a hermit that lives on top of a mountain that overlooks Whoville. Filled with jealousy over the Whos happiness and joy on Christmas Eve, he decides to dress like Santa Claus and sneak into Whoville and steal all the Christmas presents, right down to the last ribbon and bow. Only to find he didn't stopChristmas from coming at all. That Christmas morning when the Whos got out bed, they all gathered in the towns square and sang, giving thanks for Christmas. Hearing this, the Grinches tiny little heart grew three times its size, turning him into a newly redeemed Grinch. Hopping on his sleigh fill with all the Whos possessions, he returned to Whoville giving everything back. The Grinch was welcomed as a citizen of whoville and attended the Whos Christmas feast, he even cut the roast beast.
