• Step 1: Go to the Mahalo Homepage, or any Mahalo page, and click on the logo in the search bar:

• Step 2: Click on "Mahalo (English)" in the drop down

• Step 3:Mahalo will now be the default search engine in the search bar

How To Fix a Mahalo Search Bar Installation Error

• Some people have experienced the following error when trying to add Mahalo to their search bar: "Firefox could not download the search plugin from: www.mahalo.com/opensearch_desc.xml"

• This error occasionally occurs when Firefox caches an out of date version of the Mahalo Search plugin.

• To fix this error, add the Mahalo Search bar from a different page on Mahalo, ideally a page that you haven't viewed before. You can add the Mahalo search bar from any Mahalo page.
