Horse Flu
Horse flu, or equine influenza, is a highly-contagious respiratory infection in horses that causes fever, dry cough and reluctance to eat or drink for several days. An outbreak of horse flu in 2007 brought Australia's thoroughbred horse racing industry to a standstill.1
