Home for the Holidays
Home for the Holidays is a comedic drama about a single mom, Claudia Larson, who spends Thanksgiving with her dysfunctional, yet loving family. Directed by Jodie Foster the script is based on the shorty story by Chris Radant.

The Short Story
Chris Radant wrote a short story that was published in the Boston Phoenix newspaper about being a single mother and artist living in Boston during the holidays. She then took a break from writing and went on a touring job with the Rolling Stones. Upon her return she received a phone call from screenwriter W.D. Richter who wanted to option the story. Radant immediately said yes.
