Holiday Collector Barbie
The Holiday Collector Barbie is an annual Barbie doll released during the Christmas season and aimed at collectors. Collectors have complained that the dolls are produced in such quantity that they do not increase in value and do not qualify as collector's items.

2007 Doll
In 2007, the Holiday Barbie wore a red dress with white fur and black lace trim, along with a snowflake necklace and earrings. She was 13 inches tall. An African-American version of the doll was also released. While the doll itself had dark skin, the box photos showed her with much lighter skin, causing controversy among collectors.
