Hole in the Wall TV Show
In February 2008, Variety reported that FOX would bring a popular "human tetris" Japanese game show to U.S. television. The show, titled Hole in the Wall, debuted on September 7, 2008.1 2
In both the Japanese and American versions of the show, contestants must move their bodies to fit "through strange shapes cut out of an onrushing wall." If they fail to fit through the shapes, the wall will push them into a pool of water behind them.3
The Japanese version often features celebrities as contestants, but the American version features "regular joes" competing for cash prizes.4
