Hodgkin's disease, also referred to as Hodgkin's lymphoma, is a type of cancer that begins in the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system. The disease is caused by the existence of cells called Reed-Sternberg cells. Hodgkin's disease is one of the more treatable forms of cancer.¹

Symptoms

The first symptoms of Hodgkin's disease are often flu-like, with fatigue, fever and chills. Other common symptoms include swollen lymph nodes that are not painful, night sweats, itching, loss of appetite and weight loss.¹
