Hillary Clinton Sarah Palin
With some new polls out reflecting a surge in popularity for Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, some reporters are discussing what effect disaffected Hillary Rodham Clinton voters will have on the election. A poll of 800 women taken for EMILY's List on August 31 and September 1, 2008, found that 55% of Clinton's voters say that Palin's inclusion on the ticket makes them less likely to vote for John McCain, while 9% say her presence makes them more likely to support McCain.1
