Wesley N. Higdon, 25, opened fire inside a Henderson, Kentucky, plastics plant in the early morning hours of June 25, 2008, killing at least five co-workers before turning the gun on himself.1

The Shooting
Higdon reportedly began arguing with a supervisor at Atlantis Plastics and then, some time afterwards, opened fire in a break room and on the plant floor.1 Atlantis Plastics manufactures parts for refrigerators and plastic siding for homes.2
