Hells Angels Mick Jagger
In March of 2008, the BBC reported that members of the Hells Angels motorcycle group attempted to assassinate Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger in 1969. The plot originated in response to Jagger's statement that he would no longer use the Hells Angels as concert security after the death of a fan at the Altamont concert.1

Altamont
The incident that led to Jagger's public decrying of the Hells Angels occurred during a free concert at Altamont Speedway in California. During the show, an 18-year-old fan was killed; the Hells Angels, whom Jagger had employed for concert security, were allegedly responsible for the death.3
