Heather Auger
27-year-old Heather Auger was involved in a hit-and-run incident on July 2, 2008. Auger allegedly hit a pedestrian, Lucy Crawford, in front of STK steakhouse in West Hollywood, California.1 The accident occurred around 2:00 a.m, after which Auger drove away from the scene. The victim's boyfriend chased after Auger, eventually catching her. The entire incident was captured on video by a crew from TMZ.com. TMZ also acquired an audio recording of the 911 call from the scene.2 3
On July 11, 2008, Auger was charged with three felonies by the Los Angeles County District Attorney.1Auger plead not guilty to the three charges on July 21, 2008, 4

911 Tape
TMZ acquired the 911 tape of the incident. On the audio an unidentified male describes the victim as having been "creamed". He describes the accident saying "a woman just got hit by a car in the middle of the street." The caller did not give his phone number and would not return to the scene to provide help.3
