Heath Ledger Investigation Closed
On August 6, 2008, federal authorities closed the investigation into the overdose death of actor Heath Ledger. Although actress Mary-Kate Olsen had been subpoenaed in the case, the U.S. Attorney's Office decided to close the investigation and not enforce the subpoena.

Mary Kate Olsen's Involvement
When masseuse Diana Wolozin found Ledger's body, she immediately called Olsen. Authorities wanted to know where Ledger procured the drugs which were revealed by an autopsy to be in his system, and subpoenaed Olsen in an effort to find out. However, the authorities ultimately decided not to pursue the investigation any further and closed the case on August 6, 2008.
