Hayden

Hayden is the stage name of Paul Hayden Desser, a Canadian singer-songwriter who has demonstrated a eclectic taste in music over the course o seven albums. His last album In Field & Town is entirely acoustic and more refined than previous albums. Hayden received a B.A. in the Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University in 1993.

Career

Influenced by lo-fi bands of the 90's like Sebadoh and Pavement, Hayden self-released his first collection of songs in 1994 on cassette. He has since released five albums on his own label, Hardwood Records, and toured the U.S. and Canada extensively.
