Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth book in the seven-book series about the destiny of boy wizard Harry Potter. Production is in the planning stages for the film, with David Yates as director and Steve Kloves as screenwriter. The film is scheduled for a US and UK release on July 17, 2009.
Plot
With Lord Voldemorts followers running wild and the Ministry of Magic in chaos, Dumbledore instructs Harry on the particulars of Voldemort's "Horcruxes" and the ways in which he has maintained his immortality. After a series of Death Eater attacks with Hogwarts, Harry and Dumbledore are forced to confront the "Dark Mark" in the astronomy tower, to tragic results.
