Harry Potter Lexicon

In September 2008, author J.K. Rowling won her copyright suit against RDR Books, over its plan to publish Steven Vander Ark's unauthorized Harry Potter Lexicon.¹ Like Ark's website of the same name, the Lexicon was to be a reference guide to Rowling's Harry Potter book series. Rowling described the book as a "wholesale theft of 17 years of my hard work."¹
