Harry Potter Lexicon
In September 2008, author J.K. Rowling won her copyright suit against RDR Books, over its plan to publish Steven Vander Ark's unauthorized Harry Potter Lexicon.1 Like Ark's website of the same name, the Lexicon was to be a reference guide to Rowling's Harry Potter book series. Rowling described the book as a "wholesale theft of 17 years of my hard work."1
