Halloween Horror Nights 2008 Themes
For Halloween Horror Nights 2008, Universal Studios Orlando is using the character known as "Bloody Mary," a ghost who, according to urban legend, can be summoned through a mirror. The park erected 80 billboards around the Orlando, Florida, area to advertise the event, and drew the ire of some parents, who say the billboards are too violent and graphic.5
Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights 2008 will feature a Nightmare on Elm Street maze, with Freddy Krueger making surprise appearances throughout the park. Visitors can also visit a new "scare zone" based on the 2008 horror film The Strangers.6
