Guitar Hero Metallica

Metallica and Activision have teamed up to develop an all-Metallica version of Guitar Hero, which includes many past and current hits from the band. The release date has yet to be determined, but it us unlikely that it will be released in 2008.¹

The Aerosmith version of Guitar Hero is set to be released on June 29, 2008, followed by Guitar Hero On Tour, which is expected for the 2008 holiday season.

If the Metallica version of the game is similar to the Aerosmith version, players can expect a few key gameplay elements. Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is fully centered around the career and history of the band Aerosmith, and references other bands they have toured with as well.
