Freeman announced plans to open a third location in October 2008 at the Pearl River Resort on a Choctaw Indian Reservation, near Philadelphia, Mississippi.²

On August 3, 2008, Morgan Freeman flipped a 1997 Nissan Maxima owned by Demaris Meyer several times on Highway 32, four miles east of Charleston, Mississippi.³ Charleston is located approximately 40 miles southeast of Clarksdale.
