Gregory Reyes, the brother of Google CFO George Reyes, began as a salesman for Convergent Technologies before becoming a vice-president at Norand Data Systems, a maker of wireless data systems. As CEO of the two-way pager company Wireless Access, Reyes piloted the company to a lucrative 1997 buyout by Glenayre Technologies for $100 million. The next year, he was made CEO of Brocade.
