Characteristic Appearance

Although many superhero characters are subject to drastic changes, Green Arrow's character has remained relatively consistent in both attitude and appearance. He is known for his combination of sarcasm towards and skepticism of authority as well as his green suit, and blond beard and goatee. His appearance in Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns shows him missing an arm, and later versions of his character are sensitive to his arm.
