Glenn Eller
American marksman Glenn Eller set an Olympic record and won a gold medal in the double trap shooting event at the 2008 Summer Olympics.1 Eller serves in the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, which is stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia.2

Shooting Career
Eller made news in 1996, when he became the first American to win the British Open Sporting Clay title. He competed with the U.S. team at the 2000 Summer Olympics, but placed 15th. Eller returned to the Olympics in 2004, where he placed 17th. He took first place at the 2006 Double Trap National Championships, as well as second place at the 2007 National Shooting Championships. Eller placed first in the shotgun event at the U.S. Olympic time trials, which earned his spot on the U.S. Olympic shooting team.2
