Guide Note: Gino Castignoli is a construction worker who buried a Boston Red Sox, David Ortiz jersey within the newly constructed New York Yankees stadium in an effort to curse the home team.

The Bronx born and raised, Boston Red Sox fan worked on the site for just one day. He reportedly wore the jersey to work on a Saturday in August 2007, than removed it and placed it under a restaurant under construction on the third base side of the stadium.

Castignoli has been a Red Sox fan since 1975 as a fan of famed slugger Jim Rice.
