Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly

Sam Duckworth is an indie emo-folk singer-songwriter who is known as Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly. His music is known for promoting Love Music, Hate Racism and for possessing the influence of artists like Billy Bragg. During his teens, he supported bands such as The Flaming Lips, The Magic Numbers, OK Go, Funeral for a Friend and Feeder. In 2004 he released "I—Spy" as a split single and followed it with the release of five-track Get Cape Wear Cape, Fly EP in 2005.

After playing at an open mic day music industry conference, in 2005, Huw Stephens of Radio 1 offered him a session which led to the 2006 signing with Atlantic Records. After signing with Atlantic Records he released his debut full length album The Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager.

In March 2007, he performed at NMEs SXSW tour in Texas as well as participated in several festivals such as Oxegen and Glastonbury. Prior to one of his performances at the SXSW, he had been hospitalized for bronchitis and still completed his performance once he had been released.

His second and most recent album titled Searching for the Hows and Whys, released on March 10, 2008, features guest vocals from Kate Nash.
