Get A Mac Ads

Guide Note: On May 2, 2006, Apple introduced a series of commercials with actors to represent computers. The campaign behind these commercials is called "Get A Mac". John Hodgman portrays a personal computer and Justin Long plays a Mac. The commercials present both characters standing in front of a white background discussing the merits of Macs and drawbacks of PCs.

Apple has produced over 35 of the advertisements, which are shown in North America, Australia, Japan, and parts of Europe.

April 2008 Commercials In April 2008, Apple released a series of new Get A Mac Ads. The ads are titled "Yoga" and "Breakthrough".

In "Yoga", the PC enlists the help of a yoga instructor (played by Judy Greer) in an attempt to alleviate stress caused by some of the more frustrating features of Vista.

In "Breakthrough", Apple and a therapist (played by Corinne Bohrer) attempt to convince PC that he should not feel guilty for all of the faults of modern computing. The PC eventually reaches a "breakthrough", convinced that "It's Mac's fault" instead.
