Germany Ice Cream Murders
On August 12, 2008, a group of men walked into an Italian ice cream parlor in Russelsheim, outside Frankfurt, Germany, and opened fire, killing four people. Other reports indicate that some of the victims may also have been stabbed during the attack. Neither the victims - referred to as three men and one woman - nor their attackers have yet been identified, and a manhunt is underway in the area to find the shooter. Though it has been suggested as a potential motive, no link to organized crime in the area has yet been established.
