The Midnight Launch

In addition to the four marquee events in New York, Los Angeles, Bellevue and London, a number of additional stores will be open for the midnight launch. These include Best Buy, Best Buy Canada, Futureshop and Gamestop.³ As always, it's a good idea to call ahead of time to ensure a specific retailer will be open.

The midnight launch events will feature contests for limited edition Gears of War 2 Xbox 360 consoles, special guests appearances and autograph signings, as well as a variety of other goodies. All attendees will receive an Xbox Live token for an exclusive gold-plated Hammerburst, an assault rifle for use in multiplayer matches.¹
