Gears of War 2 Gold Plated Hammerburst

To celebrate the release of Gears of War 2, Epic Games is offering a gold-plated Hammerburst assault rifle to everybody who attends midnight launch events on November 7, 2008. This will be given in the form of a unique code that can only be used once. The Hammerburst is the standard weapon used by enemy Locust Drones.¹

In addition to the exclusive weapon, midnight launch attendees will receive a code to download the Flashback Map Pack for free. The pack consists of five popular maps from the original Gears of War game: Canals, Gridlock, Mansion, Subway and Tyro Station.

Note that those who order the GoW 2 limited edition will receive a gold-plated Lancer assault rifle. This is the C.O.G. equivalent to the Hammerburst.²
