On August 18, 2008, Page Six in the New York Post printed a rumor stating that a male summer 2008 movie star who is secretly gay broke into his ex-lover's apartment and raped him. The actor reportedly paid the ex-lover $500,000 in hush money to prevent the story from becoming public.1
