Frank Quattrone

Frank Quattrone was a part of a larger investigation on Credit Suisse First Boston IPO practices. He was convicted of obstruction of justice and one count of witness tampering after sending an e-mail to an associate directing him to delete relevant correspondences. In a settlement, CSFB agreed to pay $100 million in January 2002, and Quattrone was sentenced to 18 months in prison, but the charges brought against him were later overturned.
