Fractured Testicle
A fractured testicle is most commonly the result of a sports injury.1 If a testicle is struck with enough force, the resulting injury can rupture the organ, causing not only severe pain, but, in some cases, loss of the testicle.2

Chris Snyder's Injury
On June 30, 2008, Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Chris Snyder fractured his left testicle when a foul ball hit by the Milwaukee Brewers Corey Hart bounced up and hit him. Snyder initially crouched in pain, but managed to stay in the game. Snyder underwent surgery for his fractured testicle on July 3, 2008.3
