On August 7, 2008, Microsoft Game Studios announced the release date for the highly anticipated sequel Fable II which will be released on October 21, 2008 for the Xbox 360.¹

Previously, during the Microsoft’s E3 2008 Keynote Presentation on July 14, 2008, Peter Molyneux announced that his latest entry in the Fable series, Fable 2, would be officially released some time in October 2008.² Fable 2 is an Xbox 360 exclusive role-playing game developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It takes place 500 years after the previous installment and is once again set in the world of Albion.³
