Game Play Information: To start the game, you must create an avatar by picking one of sixteen characters in the game. Players can choose to be dwarves, humans, cat people or even lizard people, and also get to pick their occupation. Your avatar then gets to explore the world of Norrath, master skills and fight numerous monsters along the way. As you play the game, you advance in levels, prestige, spells and abilities by looting downed enemies and doing quests. Once a quest is completed, a reward is given to the character. You can also interact and duel other players as well. In EverQuest, there are nearly four hundred zones. Each zone represent a variety of features like cities, deserts, and other planes of existance. One of the most popular zones in EverQuest is the Plane of Knowledge because all walks of life can exist together. EverQuest can be divided into three different areas of play - trading, social interaction, and adventuring. While most parts of the game can be finished with up to six players, some of the hardest parts require players to put together a raid of thirty-six to seventy-two players.
