History
Etsy was founded by the small company iospace. After receiving funding from Union Square Ventures and the founders of both Flickr and del.icio.us the site launched on June 18, 2005. Since then it has grown to tens of thousands of sellers and many more buyers. On July 29, 2007, the site received its millionth sale.
