Erica Green
For more than four years after her death, the body of Erica Green was known only as "Precious Doe"; authorities could not identify the decapitated child found in a wooded area of Kansas City, Missouri, in 2001. In May 2005, police announced that "Precious Doe" was indeed Green. The three-year-old's mother, Michelle Johnson, and her husband (who was her boyfriend in 2001), Harrell Johnson, were charged with Green's murder.1
Michelle Johnson was sentenced to 25 years in prison on October 22, 2008.
