Eric Nies
Eric Nies is a former male fashion model who appeared in
The Real World: New York, the first season of
MTV's reality series. He became well known for his clean-cut, muscular look, and went on to host MTV's dance music show,
The Grind until 1995. He also hosted the subsequent spin-off Grind exercise videos. He made appearances on MTV's
Real World/Road Rules Challenge series, as well as in other films, television projects, and fitness infomercials. When he appeared for the
Real World Awards Bash Nies returned with a very different look, his beard and long hair throwing off former fans.
