Eliseo Gonzalez Jr
On August 22, 2008, Eliseo Gonzalez Jr.'s aunt Mayra Lizbeth Rosales was indicted on one count of murder and one count of injury to a child.1 Police allege two-year-old Eliseo Gonzalez Jr was not crushed to death when his 1,000 pound aunt rolled on top of him, as she reported, but rather had been struck at least twice. Eliseo had been visiting his aunt when he died of a fractured skull. His siblings have been removed from his home, and placed in the care of another relative, until the investigation is complete.1
