Electoral Map 2008
This page contains links to electoral maps and electoral map projections for the 2008 presidential election between Democratic candidate Barack Obama and Republican candidate John McCain. In order to become president, a candidate must receive at least 270 electoral votes. If both candidates receive 269 electoral votes, the U.S. House of Representatives decides who becomes the next president of the United States.
