Eid al-Adha
Eid al-Adha, or the Festival of Sacrifice, is a Muslim holy day. Eid al-Adha is a Muslim holiday that follows the Islamic pilgrimage of Hajj to Mecca. The holiday is meant to honor the prophet Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son, Ishmael, at God's request.1
