Ehud Udi Goldwasser
Ehud "Udi" Goldwasser was one of two Israeli reserve soldiers abducted by Hezbollah, in July 2006.1
Hezbollah returned what were confirmed to be Goldwasser's remains on July 16, 2008, as part of a prisoner exchange deal with Israel. In return, Israel will release five Lebanese prisoners, including Samir Kuntar.2

Goldwasser Background
Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev were patrolling near the Israel-Lebanon border when they were attacked and kidnapped. The event was followed by 34 days of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah. Regev and Goldwasser were not recovered.4
In July 2008, Hezbollah and Israel signed a prisoner exchange deal that would result in the recovery of the soldier's remains.4
