Edythe Maa

Edythe Maa is the girlfriend of murdered Manhattan attorney Anthony Ottaviano. Maa is a former Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania who authorities say "moonlighted" as a dominatrix named Jade Vixen. On Monday, December 2, 2008, police say a former client of Maa's, David Krieg, shot and killed Ottaviano and then kidnapped Maa. Krieg released Maa several hours later, and committed suicide after a nine-hour standoff with police.¹
