Edward Salas
Edward Salas is a convicted murderer who escaped from a Clovis, New Mexico jail along with seven other inmates on August 24, 2008.1 Salas murdered a sleeping ten-year-old boy after firing shots through the open window of a house.2

The Escape
The eight inmates who escaped did so by cutting a hole in the jailhouse roof near a skylight. They reportedly then were able to reach the roof by climbing pipes behind the wall of a shower unit.4
