NFL Career
After going undrafted in 2007, Ed Johnson was signed by the Colts. Johnson started in all 16 games as a rookie, recording 41 tackles (28 solo) and 1.0 sacks. He also had nine tackles in the Colts' playoff loss to the San Diego Chargers.1
Arrest
On September 10, 2008, Johnson was arrested and charged with possession of illegal drugs. Johnson was stopped by police for speeding and was charged with possession on marijuana. Johnson will not play in the Colts' second game of the season and may be suspended for future games.3
