Early Life

Eduardo Alonso Najera was born in Meoqui, Mexico, on July 11, 1976. He attended high school at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Texas. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma. In 2000, Najera was selected by the Dallas Mavericks with the 38th pick in the NBA Draft.¹

Pro Career

Najera played for the Mavericks for four seasons. He was traded to the Golden State Warriors in 2004, then again to the Denver Nuggets that same season. As of 2008, Najera has career averages of 5.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 19.4 minutes per game.²
