Edgar Santana Arrested
Junior welterweight boxer Edgar Santana was arrested from his home in Spanish Harlem on July 18, 2008. He and seven others were alleged to be part of an international cocaine trafficking network.1 Santana's friends, family and boxing associates expressed disbelief that the clean-cut fighter could be guilty of the charges.2
