Duke Blue Devils Football
The Duke University football team plays college football as a member of the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Known by their nickname the Blue Devils, the team plays their home games at Wallace Wade Stadium on campus in Durham, North Carolina. The team has won 17 conference championships, the most recent in 1989.

Wallace Wade Outdoor Crazies
The school's athletic department is far more recognizable to sports fans for their unbridled success as a basketball school, but don't sell short their history. In fact, in the early years of college football, Duke was one of the better teams in the middle eastern states region. When the Pearl Harbor attacks happened, the Rose Bowl decided to move their game to Duke for the 1942 event.

Among the decorated Duke football players include Dave Brown, Brian Baldinger, George McAfee, Al Woodall, Al DeRogatis, Mike McGee and Sonny Jurgensen. Steve Spurrier began his legendary coaching career at Duke.
