Career

In 1996, the Dudley Boyz debuted in Extreme Championship Wrestling as a "heel" (bad guy) team. They won the ECW Tag Team Championship the following year, and they defended their belts against Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer and Sabu.¹

They won the titles seven more times before signing with World Wrestling Entertainment in 1999. There, the Dudleys became notorious for slamming opponents through tables in their matches.² At the 2000 No Way Out pay-per-view, they won their first WWE World Tag Team Championship from the New Age Outlaws. Through eight reigns as the champions, the Dudleys feuded extensively with the Hardy Boyz and the team of Edge and Christian.³

The Dudleys were released from the WWE in 2005, and they signed with TNA Wrestling shortly thereafter.
