Drug Overdose
Drug overdose occurs when the amount of a drug ingested exceeds the recommended quantity. Depending on the type of drug, an overdose may cause any number of symptoms. Mixing different drugs or mixing drugs and alcohol can cause reactions similar to a drug overdose.1

Symptoms
Symptoms of drug overdose vary greatly depending on the drug taken. Common symptoms include sweating, nervousness, tremors or convulsions, pupils that do not react to light or appear too large or too small, inability to walk steadily, difficulty breathing, unconsciousness, paranoid or aggressive behavior or death.2
