Dragonball is a film adaptation of the [[Dragon Ball Franchise Series][]. A live action film, Dragonball follows the main character, Goku, played by Justin Chatwin, as he attempts to gather dragonballs before the villain, Piccolo, can. The movie is set to release on April 8, 2009 and is directed by James Wong who has directed such films as: The One, Final Destination and episodes of The X Files.

Dragonball centers around a humanoid, Goku, that is sent to earth to destroy its inhabitants, however, he chooses the righteous path and attempts to protect and defend humans against evil alien life-forms. Also, Goku must gather as many drangonballs as he van, before the villian, Master Piccolo does.
